Green Project Management Courses to be offered in the UK

GPM to Partner with QA to deliver Green Project Management Courses in 2012

The schedule which includes twelve 4-day master’s courses is the first of its kind in regards to the emphasis on sustainability through project management. The pedagogy includes a hands-on iterative learning approach centered on EnVexes (Environmental Exercises) that tie the practical application of “green” methodologies with globally recognized project management practices. Successful completion of the 4-day master’s course will earn participants the GPM™ (Green Project Manager) certification.

GPM, based in the US has partnered with  QA Ltd, who The Learning and Performance Institute ranked as the largest provider of IT and business training in the UK to facilitate the courses.

The courses are designed to augment an experienced project manager’s skill-set and build a foundation for those who are new to the field. This new approach will result in greater sustainability for companies who are looking to reduce energy and resource consumption while achieving business objectives.

Ultimately, companies will be able to improve their bottom line while decreasing their carbon footprint.

Registration for the 4-day master’s course and requests for 1-day courses, that are also being offered in Australia and the US in 2012 with discounted rates for early-bird and group online at www.greenprojectmanagement.org.
