Inbound Sales Support for Project Management Training Company

We are a small but rapidly growing project management training provider, offering APM, PRINCE2 and PMP courses, based in Reading. To support our future growth we are seeking a self employed individual or organisation to provide in-bound sales support service to help us convert to sales lead generated by our website. We generate most of our enquiries through online channels and our web site appears near the top of page one in Google search results for all our targeted key words. As a result we are seeing significant sales growth beyond our ability to respond to enquiries. We are seeking a pro-active supplier; with a ‘can do’ and a proven ability in supporting growing companies. It is expected that further opportunities to support us with marketing and out-bound sales may also emerge as we continue to grow.

Scope of Supply

  •  Provide second line response to incoming sales enquiries on the telephone and via the web.
  •  Maintain contact with enquiries to maximise conversion into bookings.
  •  Follow up web orders to ensure customer satisfaction and identify further business leads.
  •  To make outbound sales calls to follow up leads as appropriate. This may involve an element of cold calling.
  • Logistics.

We already have in place a dedicated telephone answering service who will record initial enquiries. Our requirement is for someone to take these telephone and online leads and convert them into sales. We anticipate this will be a take between 1-3 hours each day, depending on the level of activity. This can be done in a flexible way so long as leads are followed up within 12 hours.

Normal Place of Work
We will expect you to provide you own working environment which should present a professional impression to our clients on the telephone, this could be from home or an office. After a pilot of 4 weeks we will provide a VoIP phone which integrates with our telephone systems. Outbound calls on this phone will be covered by our telephone supplier.

Nature of Relationship
We are not seeking an employee but a freelance sales person of organisation with a track record providing this or similar services to other clients.
Confidentiality
We expect you to maintain confidential all company or personal information to which they become aware as a consequence of their employment and they shall not disclose any company information to any third party whatsoever, save for where permission to do so has been expressly granted in writing by the company or where failure to undertake such disclosure would constitute a contravention of English law.

Contract Award Process
Once we have reviewed you bid we will ask a shortlist of suppliers to present to us in our office in Reading. We are looking in particular

  • Experience in inbound sales
  • Knowledge of the project management market
  • Experience selling training
  • A supplier who will add value to our business
