Early in 2012, PMI Sydney Chapter and the Change Management Institute (CMI) signed a memorandum of understanding to ensure that members from both institutes could embrace learning and opportunities to ensure that change and project management are used consistently to consolidate business success.
It was at that time that members from both organizations decided to save the world (a small portion of it, of course), through the Trek for Cure: Salcantay to Machu Picchu in Peru Cure Cancer Peru 2013 . During 13 days Peter Taylor will be part of a group teaching project management skills in a school located in a small village, and trekking 60 kilometers for Cure for Cancer. He is also aiming to raise $4,000 for Cure for Cancer GPM Global is supporting this initiative by donating all proceeds from book sales.
